Hello Citizens, my name is Ellimist, and I am the moderator of the Starship Troopers category over on Speedrun.com .

I have been speedrunning Starship Troopers games as far back as Starship Troopers: Terran Ascendancy in the early 2000s. During research into the Starship Trooper games of the past I encountered Starship Troopers Battlespace, and a Reddit thread dedicated to it. Curious, I filed it away in my mind as an oddity that was a dead end.

Time moved on, but I never forgot. And I wondered, could an emulation server be written for the game to bring it back to life? And after many years I decided it was time to find an answer.

Starship Troopers Battlespace - The Only Good Bug Edition is my attempt to create a master server, and restore a community that has been dead over 25 years. Updated architecture for faster network responsiveness, dedicated master server, dedicated game lobbies, Battlespace lives again!
